The Poornaprajna Institute of Management Library organized a Book Review Competition on 08/08/2025 at Prajna Hall to encourage reading habits, critical thinking, and creative expression among participants. The event saw enthusiastic participation from 6 contestants, who presented insightful reviews of books spanning genres such as fiction, non-fiction, biographies, and self-help.
Participants were judged on content, originality, analysis, and presentation skills by a panel comprising Dr. Bharathi Karanth & Prof. Ramakrishna Nayak. The top honors went to [First Prize Winner – You Can Win], followed by [Second Prize Winner – The Leader in you & Corporate Chanakya] and [Third Prize Winner – Stargazing: The Players in My Life]. Certificates were awarded to all participants.
The event was marked by engaging presentations and lively audience interaction, reflecting a vibrant reading culture within the institution. The organizers expressed gratitude to the judges, participants, and volunteers, and announced plans to host more thematic competitions in the future.
