POORNA UDYOGA MELA 2024
The Poorna Udyoga Mela 2024, a mega job fair, was a grand initiative aimed at creating a bridge between job aspirants and potential employers. Organized by Poornakash in collaboration with esteemed industry and community partners, the event saw a large turnout of companies and job seekers, making it one of the most significant employment fairs in the region.
This mega job fair hosted more than 40 companies from diverse industries and attracted over 1000 candidates marking the event as a resounding success.
The job fair was inaugurated by Ms. Shamili G. Shankar, Managing Director of G.S. Shamili Infrastructure Pvt. Ltd., and an esteemed alumnus of PIM. In her address, Ms. Shankar emphasized the significance of such initiatives in empowering local talent and fostering economic growth.
The event was presided over by Dr. P. S. Aithal, Director of PIM, who expressed pride in the institution’s role in facilitating opportunities for job seekers. He also highlighted the importance of collaboration with organizations like the Ceyone Foundation and other industry partners.
Over 40 companies from sectors like IT, manufacturing, retail, finance, healthcare, education, and more set up recruitment desks at the fair.
The event saw an overwhelming response, with more than 1000 candidates registering. The participants comprised recent graduates, experienced professionals, and career aspirants from different disciplines.The participating companies offered positions across various roles such as software development, marketing, sales, operations, HR, and customer service. The event served as an excellent networking platform for students, employers, and industry experts.
The fair was meticulously planned and executed under the leadership of Mr. Shivanand M. Bhandarkar, Placement Coordinator, and the dedicated Poornakash team.
