Objectives
The Poornaprajna Centre for Innovations & Research in Indian Knowledge System & Its Relevance to the 21st Century (PCIR-IKS) aims to advance interdisciplinary research that critically examines, preserves, and revitalizes the rich intellectual heritage of Indian Knowledge Systems while exploring their contemporary relevance in addressing global challenges. The Centre seeks to promote innovative research across Indian Philosophy and Consciousness Studies, Management and Leadership, Science and Mathematics, Artificial Intelligence and Computing, Healthcare and Well-being, Education, Environment and Sustainability, Agriculture, Economics and Public Policy, Psychology, Language and Linguistics, Law and Governance, Technology and Engineering, Entrepreneurship, Ethics and Human Values, and Comparative Civilizational Studies. By fostering collaboration among academia, industry, policymakers, and traditional knowledge practitioners, the Centre aspires to develop evidence-based, culturally rooted, and globally relevant solutions that contribute to sustainable development, technological innovation, ethical leadership, holistic education, societal well-being, and the realization of Viksit Bharat 2047 through the meaningful integration of ancient wisdom with modern science and emerging technologies.
