Report on No Flame Game – Cooking Without Fire Competition
The Cultural Club of Poornaprajna Institute of Management, Udupi, organized the “No Flame Game – Cooking Without Fire” competition on Friday, 12th June 2026, from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM. The competition was organized to provide students with an opportunity to showcase their creativity, culinary skills, teamwork and presentation abilities without the use of fire.
A total of 10 teams comprising students from the MBA, MCA and BBA programmes participated enthusiastically in the competition. The participants prepared a variety of innovative and appealing dishes without using fire. The event witnessed active participation and demonstrated the students’ creativity, coordination, presentation skills and ability to prepare attractive and nutritious food using simple methods.
The competition was judged by Ms. Deekshitha and Ms. Sowmya, Assistant Professors, Sri Poornaprajna Evening College, Udupi. The judges evaluated the participating teams based on various aspects, including creativity, presentation, taste, hygiene, nutritional value and teamwork.
At the end of the competition, three prizes were announced in recognition of the outstanding performances of the participating teams. The event provided students with a fun and engaging platform to develop their teamwork, creativity, presentation skills and practical abilities beyond the classroom.
The No Flame Game concluded on a cheerful and positive note, with enthusiastic participation from students across the MBA, MCA and BBA programmes. The event was a successful initiative of the Cultural Club and contributed to promoting creativity, healthy competition and active student participation in co-curricular activities.
