
One of the flagship events of the institute, HR Zenith 2026, was organized from 6th to 8th July 2026 at Prajna Hall, Poornaprajna Institute of Management, Udupi, under the joint banner of the PHRONESIS HR Club and the PIM Alumni Association. The event was powered by Aabharan Motors Private Limited, Udupi, reflecting strong industry support for academic initiatives.



Held under the theme “Engage • Empower • Elevate,” the three-day programme aimed to provide students with an opportunity to apply Human Resource Management concepts in competitive and practical settings while strengthening interpersonal and professional competencies

A total of 14 teams comprising 56 MBA students participated enthusiastically in various HR-themed competitions, including:
- HR Mastermind
- Interlock
- Cup Rush
- Aptitude Arena
- Cognitia
- Team Fusion
- Corporate Kurukshetra
Each competition was carefully designed to evaluate participants on multiple dimensions such as HR knowledge, aptitude, analytical thinking, communication, teamwork, creativity, leadership, strategic decision-making, and problem-solving ability.
After three days of spirited competition, Team ACE, comprising Kavya, Prajwal, Subhash, and Rajendra, emerged as the Overall Champions of HR Zenith 2026.
Beyond competition, the event served as an effective experiential learning platform where participants enhanced their professional confidence, leadership qualities, interpersonal communication, and collaborative skills. Student organizers likewise acquired practical experience in project planning, stakeholder coordination, budgeting, scheduling, team management, hospitality, and event administration.
Valedictory Ceremony and Prize Distribution

The Valedictory and Prize Distribution Ceremony was held on 8 July 2026 at 4.00 p.m. at Prajna Hall, marking the successful culmination of HR Zenith 2026.
The programme was graced by Ms. Fiona Rodrigues, HR Manager, Odrio Technologies Private Limited, and a distinguished alumna of Poornaprajna Institute of Management (Batch 2018–2020), as the Chief Guest.

The function was presided over by Dr. P. S. Aithal, Director, Poornaprajna Institute of Management. Prof. Venkatesh Shetty, Coordinator of the PHRONESIS HR Club, and Dr. Diana Saldanha, Coordinator of the PIM Alumni Association, were present on the dais.

The programme commenced with a formal welcome and an introduction of the Chief Guest by Ms. Nayana, followed by the distribution of prizes and certificates to the winners of various competitions.


In her address, Ms. Fiona Rodrigues congratulated the participants and appreciated the institute for organizing a comprehensive HR conclave that effectively integrated academic learning with industry expectations. She emphasized the importance of developing employability skills, professional ethics, adaptability, leadership qualities, and lifelong learning to excel in today’s dynamic corporate environment. Her interaction with the students offered valuable insights into contemporary HR practices and industry expectations.

The programme was efficiently compered by Ms. Shridevi Bhat, while the formal Vote of Thanks was proposed by Ms. Anisha, who expressed sincere gratitude to the management, Chief Guest, sponsor, faculty members, judges, participants, organizing committee, volunteers, and all stakeholders for their invaluable support in making the event a grand success.

Outcome
Treasure Hunt 2K26 and HR Zenith 2026 successfully demonstrated the commitment of the PHRONESIS HR Club and the PIM Alumni Association towards promoting experiential learning and holistic student development. Both programmes effectively bridged the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application by providing students with opportunities to develop leadership, managerial competence, communication, analytical thinking, collaboration, and decision-making skills in real-world scenarios.







The enthusiastic participation of students, active involvement of faculty members, continuous support from alumni, and generous sponsorship by Aabharan Motors Private Limited contributed significantly to the successful execution of these initiatives. The programmes not only enriched the learning experience of the participants but also strengthened industry–academia engagement, making them memorable highlights in the academic calendar of Poornaprajna Institute of Management, Udupi.
