The Finance Forum of Poornaprajna Institute of Management organized a workshop on “Fundamental Analysis and Using AI for Stock Research” on 27th June 2025. Prof. Harish B, Proprietor of Premier Investments Ltd., Udupi, served as the resource person for the workshop. He is also an adjunct faculty member at PIM. Mr. Harish B provided valuable insights into fundamental analysis, explaining various financial ratios and their significance in evaluating stocks. He further enhanced the session with a practical demonstration on how to use the screener app effectively for stock selection, making the learning experience both informative and engaging. The workshop saw active participation from second-year MBA finance students. Ms. Shreya, a student of 2nd MBA Section A, delivered the welcome address, while Ms. Aksha introduced the resource person. Mr. Vignesh Aithal proposed the formal vote of thanks, and Ms. Pratheeksha of 2nd MBA section B served as the Master of Ceremony for the program. Dr. Vinay Prabhu attended the session and extended his support to the event, and the workshop was successfully coordinated by Dr. Bharathi Karanth, faculty in charge of the Finance Forum.
