Extension Programme conducted by Finance Forum – Investor Awareness Programme – NiveshKa Sahikadam
More than 40 students of Poornaprajna Institute of Management (PIM), Udupi, participated in an Investor Awareness Programme titled “NiveshKa Sahikadam – Learn Smart Investing and Plan a Secure Financial Future”, held on 20 June 2026 at Kediyoor Banquets, Udupi.
The programme was organized by Karavali Trading Zone – Stock Market Training Academy, founded by Mrs. Sahana Deranna Rai, an alumna of PIM, in association with News18 Network and the Association of Mutual Funds in India (AMFI).
The programme aimed to create awareness among participants about smart investing, mutual funds, financial planning, and the importance of building a secure financial future. The sessions were conducted by industry experts, providing participants with practical insights into investment avenues and informed financial decision-making.
Participation and Learning
The participation of PIM students in the programme provided them with an opportunity to enhance their understanding of investment management and personal finance and to gain practical exposure to the financial markets.
The participation certificates were subsequently distributed to the students during
FINSPARK–2K26, the in-house Finance Fest organized by the Finance Forum, PIM.
PIM appreciates the initiative of Mrs. Sahana Deranna Rai and Karavali Trading Zone in promoting investor awareness and providing students with an opportunity to develop their financial literacy and investment awareness.
