Management Role-play on the topic group dynamics in the workplace.

On April 18th, 2024, the Human Rights Cell of PIM organized a workshop showcasing the nuances of “Group Dynamics in the Workplace,” featuring two compelling management role-plays. The event was held from 12 pm to 1 pm in the Prajna Vaibhavam (PV) Hall.

Dr. Sukanya Martis, Principal of Sri Poornaprajna Evening College Udupi, graced the occasion as the chief guest, alongside Dr. Bharath V, Director of PIM, who presided over the function.

Commencing the session, Prof. Venkatesh Shetty from the Department of MBA provided the introduction of the distinguished guest, followed by a ceremonial floral welcome.

Both Dr. Martis and Dr. Bharath V undertook the pivotal role of adjudicators for the student-performed role-plays. MBA Section A students presented “Group Dynamics in Product Marketing,” while MBA Section B students delivered “Group Dynamics in the Service Industry.” Subsequently, individual feedback sessions delved into students’ problem-solving skills, overall presentation and soft skills.

Dr. Martis, a renowned Hindi writer and actress celebrated for her contributions to television and film, generously shared her insights with the students after the role-play session. This was complemented by the presidential remarks from Dr. Bharath V. The event culminated with the presentation of a memento to Dr. Martis, symbolizing gratitude for her presence and wisdom.

Prof. Diana Saldanha, coordinator of the Human Rights Cell, hosted the event and extended a formal vote of thanks, acknowledging the collective efforts that made the event a resounding success. The event was attended by the students and faculty of MBA and MCA programs of PIM along with the members of the non-teaching staff.
