Report on Cultural and Prize Distribution Day
The Cultural Club of Poornaprajna Institute of Management, Udupi, organized the Cultural and Prize Distribution Day on Tuesday, 28th July 2026, at 9:30 AM in Prajna Hall. The programme began with the traditional lighting of the lamp, followed by the invocation, welcome address, floral welcome, and introduction of the dignitaries.
The event was graced by Dr. Harish G. Joshi, Retired Professor, Manipal School of Commerce and Economics, MAHE, Manipal, as the Chief Guest. Dr. G. S. Chandrashekar, Hon. Secretary, Governing Council, PIM, and CA T. Prashantha Holla, Hon. Treasurer, Governing Council, PIM, attended as the Guests of Honour. The programme was presided over by Dr. P. S. Aithal, Director, Poornaprajna Institute of Management, Udupi.
The Annual Report highlighting the institution’s achievements and activities was presented during the programme. The dignitaries addressed the gathering and encouraged students to strive for excellence in academics while actively participating in co-curricular and extracurricular activities. Students were honoured with trophies, medals, certificates and prizes for their outstanding performances in Sports Events, Prajna Vaibhava Competitions and various Cultural Club Events conducted during the academic year. The formal session concluded with the presentation of a memento to the Chief Guest, the Presidential Remarks, and the Vote of Thanks.
The celebrations continued with a vibrant Cultural Programme, where students showcased their talents through dance, music and other cultural performances. The event concluded with lunch served to all the dignitaries, faculty members, staff, and students, making the occasion a memorable celebration of talent, achievement and togetherness.
