Mr. Sundararaman Ramamurthy, MD and CEO, BSE Ltd., Mumbai and Mr. Deepak Goel, CFO, BSE Ltd. Mumbai visited Poornaprajna Institute of Management (PIM), Udupi on June 05, 2025. Both the top executives of the country’s prestigious and Asia’s oldest stock exchange had a very fruitful and interactive session with the MBA and MCA students of PIM and the MCom students of Poornaprajna (Autonomous) college. In his inspirational speech as part of the interactive session on ‘Inspiration and Motivation in Life’, Mr. Sundararaman Ramamurthy said one can become successful and achieve prosperity in life by discharging his responsibility towards God, Ancestors and Society. If worked hard without expecting any immediate result, success will follow. To be a successful and a safe investor, he further added that, one should do only those things in the stock market which he understands and should understand what he does. Mr. Goel said continuous and consistent learning will lead to development in all spheres of life and he also highlighted the importance of long term investment to become financially wealthy in life.
The occasion was blessed by the divine presence and thought provoking speech of HH Shree Shree Eeshapriyatheertha Swamiji, President, Udupi Shree Adamaru Matha Education Council (USAMEC). Dr. A. P. Bhat, Honourable Secretary, USAMEC, Bengaluru, CA G. V. Krishna, Honourable Treasurer, USAMEC, Bengaluru, CA T. Prashantha Holla, Honourable Treasurer, Governing Council, PIM, Shri Gopal Shabaraya, Personal Secretary to the President, USAMEC, Principals of Poornaprajna (Autonomous) College and Sri Poornaprajna Evening College, faculty members from the department of MBA and MCA of PIM and from the MCom department of PPC were present during the interactive session. Dr. P. S. Aithal, Director, PIM, welcomed and introduced the dignitaries to the gathering. Dr. G. S. Chandrashekhar, Honourable Secretary, Governing Council, PIM presided over the function. First MBA students Ms. Sharada and Ms. Ashika invoked the blessings of God by singing the prayer song. Former Director of PIM Dr. Bharath V. proposed vote of thanks. Dr. Bharathi Karanth, Academic Coordinator, MBA, PIM compered the entire programme.
