The Department of MBA conducted an engaging and intellectually stimulating session under the banner of “Prajna Vaibhavam” on 13th June 2025. The event, designed to enhance critical thinking and public speaking skills, featured a series of structured debates on contemporary socio-economic issues.
Each debate session lasted 20 minutes and was assigned to two teams per topic, with one side supporting the motion and the other opposing it. The topics discussed during the session were:
- Is Government Regulation on Social Media a Threat to Free Speech?
- Artificial Intelligence in HR – Enhancing Talent or Killing Human Judgment?
- Is Political Stability More Important Than Economic Freedom for Business Growth?
A total of three student teams actively participated. The event served as an excellent platform for students to explore diverse perspectives, collaborate as teams, and gain confidence in public speaking.
The debate session was judged by Dr. Diana Saldana and Mr. Ramakrishnan, faculty members from the MBA Department, Dr. Krishna Kothai, Professor, and Dr. Sriramana Aithal, Director of the Institute, also graced the event and offered valuable feedback to the students, appreciating their efforts and encouraging deeper intellectual engagement in the future.
The program was successfully coordinated by students Mrs. Kavyasri, Mr. Manjunath, and Mr. Adarsh, who ensured smooth conduct and time management throughout the session. The overall event was organized and overseen by Dr. Bharath V.
