The ‘World Water Day’ was celebrated at Poornaprajna Institute of Management Udupi, organized by the Echo Club in collaboration with City Municipal Udupi, District Legal Services Authority Udupi, and PPC College Udupi. Dr. Ramu L, the Principal of PPC College, Udupi, presided over the program. Sri Rayappa, the Municipal Commissioner of CMC Udupi, inaugurated the program and emphasized the importance of water and water conservation.
Smt Sharmila S, a Senior Civil Judge and Member Secretary of the District Legal Service Authority, Udupi, highlighted the individual responsibility towards water conservation. Sri Balabkrisha, a Professor of Geology at MIT Manipal, enlightened the students about the origin of water and its significance in protecting water and nature.
The program was coordinated by Smt Sneha K.S, an Environment Engineer. The event was attended by all the faculty members of PIM and its sister institute.
