Flexibility is the key to success. An individual needs to be adaptable to various circumstances in life so that he can grow. Locational flexibility is very important factor in employability. Moreover, there is great demand for Indian educated and talented youth in global job markets. In this regard, Poornakash- Training and Placement Cell of Poornaprajna Institute of Management on 14th March 2024 organized a seminar for all MBA and MCA students on the topic “Japanese Management styles and career opportunities in Japan” by Prof. Harikrishna Bhat, Professor and Director International Collaborations of Nitte University and Nitte Education Trust.
Prof. Bhat who is an Engineer by qualification and having spent around 40 years in Japan working for various organizations at different capacities was an apt resource person to provide inputs to students to explore opportunities in the overseas markets and free themselves from certain inhibitions about foreign markets.
Prof. Harikrishna Bhat encouraged students with his personal experience while working in Japan and the work culture of companies in Japan. He also motivated students to be willing to grab international job opportunities and be ready to travel across the globe to be more competitive as an individual. He also gave assurance that he would render a helping hand to those willing and deserving with possible opportunities in the overseas markets through his network of organizations.
The Director of the Institute Dr. Bharath V., the faculty coordinator of the Training and Placement Cell Prof. Shivanand M. Bhandarkar and Prof. Venugopal Rao, HOD of MCA were present during the program. The student coordinators of Poornakash planned and executed the program with great zeal and all first year and second year MBA and MCA students along with the teaching and non-teaching staff attended the program.
