Visit to Dr. Vidyavachaswati Bannanje Govindacharya Memorial City Central Library was organized to the MBA students of our institution to sensitize about the importance of library, digital library and books.The program was inaugurated by litterateur Mrs. Vasanthi Shetty Brahmavara. Speaking on the occasion she emphasized on the importance of library and said that if the library which is a temple of knowledge is used well, the darkness of life will be removed and the light of knowledge will settle in life. In the program, coordinator of the library committee of our institution Mrs. Sujata G L said that the usefulness of the library is very important when the students take UPSC and KAS and other competitive exams after graduation. All-round development of students is possible only through libraries, she said, reading books can shape a better future.
Mr. Purushothama Gowda, librarian of our institution was present in the programme. Mrs. Nalini G I, Chief Librarian of the City Central Library gave the introductory speech and welcomed the gathering. Mrs. Sunita, Â library assistant did the invocation. Librarian Mrs. Ranjithawas the master of ceremony for the program. Mrs. ShakuntalaKunder, first Division Assistant, proposed vote of thanks.
