The finance forum of Poornaprajna Institute of Management organised a workshop on “Fundamental analysis and using screener app for stock selection” on 21st March 2024. Prof.Harish B, Proprietor of Premier Investments Ltd. Udupi was the resource person for the workshop. Prof.Harish B is also the adjunct faculty of PIM. Mr. Harish B enlightened the students about fundamental analysis. His explanation of the different ratios to be used and the analysis of those ratios of different stocks was followed by a very useful demonstration of the selection of stocks using the screener app. Finance students of 2nd year MBA actively participated in the workshop. Mr.Adarsh Poojary class representative of the 2nd MBA welcomed the gathering, Mr. Santhosh introduced the resource person, Mr. Manjunath proposed a formal vote of thanks and Mr.Karthikeya was the master of the ceremony of the program. Dr. Bharath V presided over the program. Dr.Bharathi Karanth, faculty in charge of the finance forum coordinated the program.
