Visit to Jeevan Asha Trust at Shirva, Udupi

The Human Resource forum of the Institution – ETICA visited an old age home Jeevan Asha Trust in Shirva on 10th September 2019. During the visit, 10 students from HR specialization along with the faculty in-charge Mr.Joe Ashwin Correa and Mr. Shivanand Bhandarakar interacted with the inmates of the home.

The program began by invoking almighty’s blessings. Miss Roshini was the host for the day who through her meaningful compering, impressed the gathering. 



Miss Ashmitha gave a thoughtful message on health-related tips, types of food to be consumed and balanced diet required to lead a healthy life. 


Miss Veena and Miss Sheetal performed Garba dance entertaining the elderly crowd. 


Miss Sharon and Miss Fiona conducted activities like ‘bomb in the city’ and various spot games.


There was a group dance performance by all the students which was much appreciated by the inmates of the old age home.


Mr.Ashwith helped to capture the memories for the day; Miss Veena and Mrs.Minal distributed gifts to winners of various events conducted for the inmates of the old age home.

Miss Arpitha Naik proposed the vote of thanks.

At the end, all the students interacted with the inmates privately by exchanging their different experiences.

As a token of love, the students presented eatables and food items to the inmates of the old age home.
