The Anti- Ragging Cell of PIM conducted an awareness programme for the first year MBA students on 23rd September 2019. Dr. Bharathi Karanth, faculty in charge of Anti-Ragging Cell made a presentation to the students of 1st year MBA about the different committees and cells working in PIM which enforces not just discipline but also takes care of the welfare of the students.
The student members of the Anti-ragging cell consists of the following students:
Mr Rajath Krishna Kini – Class representative of 2nd year MBA
Ms Shilpa – Girl’s representative of 2nd year MBA
Ms Abja – 2nd MBA
Ms.Suparna – 2nd MBA
Ms Suchitha – 2nd MBA
Mr. Rajath Krishna Kini introduced the students to the concept of Anti- Ragging. Ms. Abja , suparna and Shilpa enlightened the first year MBA students about the composition, functioning of Anti-Ragging Cell and gave an idea to the students about the punishment that will be awarded in the institution if found to be involved in ragging.
