It is a tradition to pray the Almighty before we start any work. At Poornaprajna Institute of Management, the daily routines begin with a prayer before the first period of the day. Immediately after the teacher enters the classroom, the following paryer is sung by the students, followed by a deep-breath excercise for two minutes.
त्वमेव माता च पिता त्वमेव ।
त्वमेव बन्धुश्च सखा त्वमेव ।
त्वमेव विद्या द्रविणम् त्वमेव ।
त्वमेव सर्वम् मम देव देव ॥
Tvam-Eva Maataa Ca Pitaa Tvam-Eva |
Tvam-Eva Bandhush-Ca Sakhaa Tvam-Eva |
Tvam-Eva Viidyaa Dravinnam Tvam-Eva |
Tvam-Eva Sarvam Mama Deva Deva ||
Lord, you are my mother, you are my father, you are my relatives, you are my friend, you are my knowledge, you are the my wealth, you are everything
ॐ पूर्णमदः पूर्णमिदं पूर्णात्पुर्णमुदच्यते
पूर्णस्य पूर्णमादाय पूर्णमेवावशिष्यते ॥
ॐ शान्तिः शान्तिः शान्तिः ॥
Om Puurnnam-Adah Puurnnam-Idam Puurnnaat-Purnnam-Udacyate
Puurnnasya Puurnnam-Aadaaya Puurnnam-Eva-Avashissyate ||
Om Shaantih Shaantih Shaantih ||
God is complete in all respects. Individual souls stemming from Him are also complete in all respects. Thus, completeness of individuals comes from the completeness of God. But, the completeness of God is not impaired by the coming out of various individual souls from God.
