MARKSPROUT 2K18-AN IN-HOUSE MANAGEMENT FEST ORGANISED BY MARKETING FORUM
Marketing Forum organized an in-house management fest called MARKSPROUT 2K18-Let the talent grow on 17th April 2018. This event was the brainchild of marketing specialization students of 2016-18 batch. The objectives of this event were:
1. To provide an opportunity for all students to participate in the professional fest.
2. To equip the students with knowledge and expertise in their field.
3. To provide a platform for young brains to showcase their innovative ideas.
4. To develop organizing skills like planning, teamwork, leadership, and multitasking.
Students from I and II MBA participated. Ms.Moona, Ms.Shruthi Uday Achar, Mr.Nishant were the coordinators of the event. The following events were held
1. SHOOT IT WHEN YOU FIND- Participants were asked to create a short ad video.Ms.Priyanka Bhat, Mr. Vinayak Shenoy, and Mr. Bharath Poojary were the coordinators for this event.
2. ITS THE TIME TO RETRO-Participants were asked to market outdated products.Ms. Shilpa, Mr. Harish Shetty, and Mr. Chidanand were the coordinators for this event.
3. TRING TRING ARE YOU READY?-Participants were asked to play the role of marketer and convince aggrieved customers.Ms. Nishanthi, Mr. Pragath Kumar, Mr.Suhas were the student coordinators for this event.
Mrs. Sujatha G.L., Mr. Santhosh N. Prabhu, Mr. Shivanand Bhandarkar were the judges for the events.
the valedictory function was held at 4.30.PM on the same day.Prof.Emeritus and coordinator of PCRD Mr.Krishna Kothai addressed the gathering highlighting the importance of in-house management fest. Dr.Bharath V, the Director of the Institute presided the programme. Mrs.Sujatha G. L., the faculty coordinator of Marketing Forum expressed her views and appreciated the efforts of the students. Prizes were distributed to the winners. Ms.Shruthi was the master of ceremony.Ms. Moona welcomed the gathering and Mr. Nishanth D’Souza proposed vote of thanks. the event was sponsored by Gokul Fruits Pvt ltd., Anara Ventures, Arabian Tasty, and Bhagirathi Cashews. All the members of teaching and non-teaching staff were present.
