On the occasion of Matribhasha Diwas which is celebrated on February 21st, Literary Club of Poornaprajna Institute of Management (PIM) conducted Elocution competition on the topic ‘My School Days’. As the competition was held to commemorate ‘Matribhasha Diwas’ or ‘Mother Tongue Day’, the contestants were allowed to speak in their respective mother tongue. Contestants from first year and second year MBA and MCA programmes participated in the competition speaking in Kannada, Tulu and Konkani languages.
Faculty members of the Institute Prof. Santhosh N Prabhu and Dr. Diana Saldanha judged the performance of the students. Students from II MBA Section B, Ms. Poojary Shivani Vijay introduced and welcomed the judges; Ms. Titiksha Chidambar Bhat coordinated the proceedings of the competition; and Ms. Spandana K M proposed vote of thanks.
