Panel Discussion on “She Leads, She Innovates , She Empowers ” organised by the Women Empowerment Cell ‘SHE’

Women Empowerment Cell of PIM   “SHE’ Strength, Harmony, Empowerment in association with Udupi Chamber of Commerce and Industry organised a workshop on the theme ” She Leads, She Innovates , She Empowers” on 21st February 2025 at Prajna Hall from 11.am to 1.00PM.  The event aimed to inspire and empower women by sharing the experiences of successful women entrepreneurs and fostering discussions on leadership, innovation, and empowerment.

Dignitaries and Guests:

The program was graced by three distinguished entrepreneurs who have made remarkable contributions to their respective fields:

  • Mrs. Renu Jairam, Founder, Crafts Mantra
  • Mrs. Shruthi G. Shenoy, Co-owner, Ashlesh Hotel & Restaurants, Ashlesh Tours & Travels
  • Mrs. Tanuja Maben, Director, Tanuja’s Mind Therapy

The event was presided  by Dr. P.S. Aithal, Director of Poornaprajna Institute of Management  along with faculty members and students.

Program Highlights:

The event followed a well-structured schedule, ensuring an engaging and insightful session.  The dignitaries were escorted on to the dias  by the faculty coordinators of the programme Dr. Bharathi Karanth and Prof. Priya . The ceremony began with the symbolic lighting of the lamp and watering of the plant by the dignitaries and the student coordinators of the forum, Ms. Ambika, Ms. Anusha, Ms. Suma , Ms. Deeksha. Ms. Dhanushreee, Ms. Vaishnavi.Ms. Anusha formally welcomed the guests and gathering. A brief introduction of the panelists was presented by Ms. Neeksha , Ms. Aneesha and Ms. Kavya of 1st MBA .Dr. P.S. Aithal shared his insights on women’s leadership and empowerment. The discussion, moderated by Dr. Bharathi Karanth, focused on leadership challenges, innovation, and ways to empower women in entrepreneurship. A Q&A session allowed students to engage with the panelists and gain valuable insights.  1st year MBA students, Diya, Isha, Disha, Pramodini, Kavyahsree, Shreedevi Bhat, Adarsh  and Krithika of 2nd year engaged in meaningful conversations and clarified their doubts with the resource persons.  As a token of appreciation, mementoes were presented to the esteemed panelists. Ms. Suma G.P. delivered the vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to all dignitaries, organizers, and attendees. Ms. Ambika was the master of ceremony of the program.  The program was complete with the participation of MBA and MCA students.

Mr. Kishan, Mr. Vaishak, Mr. Anush, Mr. Subhash, and Mr. Prajwal shouldered the responsibilities and ensured the smooth flow of the programme.
