The Annual Sports Meet of Poornaprajna Institute of Management (PIM) for Academic Year 2024-25 was held on 15th of February 2025 at PIM ground. First- and second-year students of MBA and MCA programmes of PIM participated in various events held during the day. Principal of Poornaprajna College Dr. Ramu L was the chief guest and inaugurator of the event. In his inaugural speech, he highlighted the importance of sports in the overall growth of management and IT professionals. In his presidential remarks, the Director in-charge of the Institute Dr. Bharath V said that there is always a healthy mind in a healthy body. Therefore, all should give importance to outdoor sporting activities in today’s busy life.
Physical Education Director of the Institute Mr. Sukumar along with PED of Sri Poornaprajna Evening College Mr. Suraj conducted various track and field events for the students of PIM. Sports club coordinator for PIM Dr. Naveen Kumar K R and all other faculty members of the Institute were present and ensured smooth conduct of the events. Sports club student secretaries of first- and second-year classes of MBA and MCA made all necessary arrangements. Second MBA student Ms. Medha Prabhu compered the inaugural session.
