On 24th May 2024 the Training and Placement Cell -Poornakash organized a session on “RECRUITMENT AND SELECTION PROCESS IN IT FIRMS FOR SUPPORT FUNCTIONS”.  Mrs. Laxmi Shetty of Robosoft Technologies was the resource person.
Mrs. Laxmi Shetty, Associate Manager – Talent Acquisition Robosoft Technologies Pvt, Ltd. Was the resource person for the session. Ms. Deeksha Shetty gave the welcome speech and Ms. Harshitha introduced the guest.
Ms. Laxmi shed light on different topics like Job Opportunities for Finance, HR and Marketing, frequently asked question in an interview, the points to be known about the company before attending an interview etc.
She also emphasized on prospects for students from different streams such as for finance- Accounts payable and Accounts Receivable. The HR students can apply for tasks related to Onboarding and exit, Learning and Development, Talent Acquisition, HR Operations. Marketing folks can serve in sales, pre-sales, Marketing tools. She also made the session more interesting by activities for students such as framing Job Description for different job roles.
After this a Q&A session was held were students interacted with the resource person regarding their doubts and clarifications. 
Mr. Pavan extended a formal vote of thanks. The session was attended by second year students along with the faculty Mr. Venkatesh Shetty & Mr. Shivanand Bhandarkar who played a vital role in organizing this program
