‘Vipanakriya’, the Marketing Forum of Poornaprajna Institute of Management organised a guest talk on the topic ‘Brand Management’ on 25th June 2024. Prof. Ankith. J, A Senior Marketing Professional was the resource person for the session. The event aimed to enrich students’ understanding of brand strategies, consumer behaviour, and market dynamics, aligning with the curriculum’s focus on marketing.
Professor Ankith .J elucidated on the foundational concepts of brand management, emphasizing the importance of brand building, brand identity, and brand equity. He discussed how these elements collectively shape consumer perceptions and influence purchasing decisions. The speaker emphasized the role of emotional connections, customer experience, and trust-building initiatives in enhancing brand loyalty.
It provided valuable insights into contemporary brand management practices, equipped students with practical knowledge, and provided a deeper understanding of the strategies involved in building and sustaining successful brands.
