The HR Forum of PIM organized an activity called “HR Adventure – Campus Discovery” for the first-year MBA and MCA students of PIM. The activity was held between 3 pm to 5 pm on the 28th of May 2024. A total of nine teams participated in this unique event. The primary objective was to encourage students to work together towards a common goal by promoting teamwork and collaboration. The event was structured as a treasure hunt and consisted of three rounds.
In the first round, each team was given an HR related puzzle-solving exercise. Upon completion, they received a clue leading to a specific location on the PPC campus. This cryptic clue was followed by another problem-solving activity where students had to identify various company logos hidden within the PIM building. This not only enhanced their problem-solving skills but also increased their knowledge of different companies and their products. Finally, teams had to identify the final location of the treasure based on the clue retrieved from the logos. Team Topaz of First MBA Section B won the Campus Discovery event by being the first to crack all the clues in record time.
The event concluded with a prize distribution ceremony, conducted by Prof. Diana Saldanha, the coordinator of the HR Forum. The students of the HR Forum spent weeks planning and preparing for this monumental task, and the success of this event has significantly improved their organizational skills.
The HR Forum extends its gratitude to the Director, staff, students of PIM, and the non-teaching staff for providing a platform to conduct such creative activities. These activities foster a supportive environment and enhance the leadership, morale, and motivation of the students.
