Dr. Shreeramana Aithal officially assumed the role of Director for Academics and Institutional Development at Poornaprajna Group of Institutions, Udupi, on 1st May 2024. The ceremony took place at Poornaprajna Institute of Management, Udupi. In addition to his role as Director for Academics, Dr. Aithal will also be taking on additional responsibilities as Director of Poornaprajna Institute of Management (PIMS).
Dr. Aithal, a distinguished academician, has been appointed as the Director (Development & Expansion) of Poornaprajna Group of Institutions by His Holiness Shri Eshapriya Theertha Swamiji, the President of Sri Admar Mutt Education Council. With a remarkable tenure as the Founding Vice-Chancellor of Srinivas University, Dr. Aithal brings over 22 years of administrative experience and 33 years of academic and research expertise to his alma mater.
At the ceremony, Dr. Aithal expressed his vision for the future of Poornaprajna Group of Institutions. The event was attended by dignitaries including Dr. GS Chandrasekhar, Secretary of the Governing Council of PIM and PPC; Dr. AP Bhat, the Administrative Officer of Admar Mutt Education Council; CA Prashanth Holla, the Treasurer of PIM; Principals of sister concerns of PIM; outgoing director Dr. Bharath V; Dr. Shridahr Rao; Secretary of Admar PU College; Dr. Krishna Kothai; Founder Director of PIM Dr. MR Hegde; and Teaching and Non-teaching staff of MBA and MCA.
During the ceremony, Dr. GS Chandrashekar and Dr. AP Bhat welcomed the new director to the PIM family with a peta, shawl, and offering floral welcome. Dr. Ramu L proposed a formal vote of thanks, while Dr. Bharathi Karanth, Associate Professor at PIM, conducted the programme.
