“Ramothsava,” an event to commemorate the auspicious occasion of the consecration of the Ram idol at Ayodhya, was organized at PIM on 22nd Jan 2024. The celebration aimed to honor and preserve the rich cultural heritage, traditions and values associated with Lord Rama and the Ramayana. The event started with lighting of lamp by Dr. Krishna Kothai, Coordinator of PCRD and director of PRCSE, Dr. Bharath V, director of the Institute, faculties and students.
Dr. Krishna Kothai emphasised on the timeless values embedded in the Ramayana. He encouraged the students to draw inspiration from Lord Rama’s life, stressing the importance of virtues such as righteousness, compassion, and devotion in navigating life’s challenges. Bhajans were the highlight of the program. Collective singing and chanting of bhajans by students created a spiritual atmosphere of peace and devotion. Ms. Jnaneshwari of II MBA conducted the program and Smt. Sujatha G L, Faculty in-charge of Cultural Club, coordinated the program.
