On 16th December 2022, the Entrepreneurship Development Cell of PIM spearheaded an extension program aimed at fostering entrepreneurial spirit among the students of the Poornaprajna Group of Institutions. PIM MBA students, in collaboration with MCom students from Poornaprajna Day College and Poornaprajna Evening College, were organized into 22 groups.
The program included addressing students from PUC and the Degree college, with a focus on creating awareness about the significance of promoting the handicraft industry in India and preserving local arts and culture. Each group, comprising both MBA and MCom students, actively engaged in enlightening the campus community about an upcoming Handicrafts Mela scheduled to be held at the institute.
Their efforts extended beyond campus boundaries, employing various strategies to motivate not only students but also the wider public to attend the exhibition. The initiative aimed to instill an appreciation for local crafts and cultural heritage while promoting active participation in the upcoming handicrafts event.
