A comprehensive workshop focusing on the theme “Workshop on Intellectual Property Rights – Scope and Relevance” took place on the 17th of July 2023 at the esteemed Poornaprajna Institute of Management. Dr. Santhosh Prabhu, an Assistant Professor at SDM Law College, Mangalore, served as the distinguished resource person for the event. His impromptu speech captivated the audience, employing numerous illustrative examples to elucidate the intricate concepts of intellectual property rights (IPRs). Notably, he underscored the significant scope of IPRs in the realm of business, shedding light on their relevance in contemporary scenarios.
The event was meticulously organized by Dr. Bharathi Karanth, the coordinator of the IPR cell, with the esteemed presence of Dr. Bharath V, the Director of PIM, who presided over the program. The proceedings commenced with a warm welcome by Ms. Akshatha, setting the tone for the engaging and informative session. Ms. Megha introduced the esteemed Chief Guest, Dr. Santhosh Prabhu, providing attendees with insights into his notable contributions to the field.
Mr. Deepak Poojary expressed gratitude and extended a vote of thanks, acknowledging the collective efforts that made the workshop a success. Serving as the master of ceremony, Ms. Rachana skillfully guided the program, ensuring its smooth flow.
