India has completed 75 years of Independence. As a part of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav, Poornaprajna Institute of Management organised various competitions to create awareness among students about freedom struggle and the achievements of India after Independence. On 10th August Essay Writing, 11th August Elocution, 12th Drawing, 16th Singing and Skit competitions were organised. Dr. Nirmala Kumari was Chief Guest for price distribution ceremony. Speaking on the occasion she recalled the entry of British into India in the name of trade, how they colonised India, the freedom struggle movement in Indian and the achievements India has made after Independence. Dr. Bharath, Director of the Institute emphasised on the role the youth have to play to make India a global power. Prizes were distributed to winners of various competitions. Mrs Sujatha, coordinator of Cultural club welcomed the gathering and Adithya Nayak of II MBA proposed vote of thanks. Soumya of II MBA was the master of ceremony for the program.
