Anti -Ragging Cell of PIM introduced the first-year students to Aman Movement. The first-year students of PIM were informed about the Aman movement which is named after Aman Sathya Kachroo, a medical student who died due to Ragging. The movement has since developed into a research facility for improved management of social sector programs of Government of India . The students were given step by step instruction for registering in amanmovement.org in the computer lab of PIM. Students were even introduced to the UGC website where they are supposed to fill the Anti- Ragging Affidavit. Dean Dr Suresh Ramana Mayya, faculty coordinator Dr Bharathi Karnath and the student coordinators of Anti- Ragging cell co-ordinated the programme.
