Finance Forum of Poornaprajna Institute of Management Organised a BSE – Investor Protection Fund sponsored a workshop on the topic “Capital Market Awareness” on 26th September 2019 at 2.00pm at Prajna Hall. Mr Ramachandra Bhat K was the resource person for the workshop. The Resource Person enlightened the students about the importance of investment, investment alternatives, the superiority of equity form of investment over other forms, the power of compounding, the procedure of stock trading and operations of the stock exchange. It was a lively presentation made by the resource person which kept the audience alert. The students of both first and second-year MBA involved in the interaction with the resource person and clarified their doubts. This workshop organised by the Finance Forum of PIM was presided over by Dr.Bharath V. It was attended by Dean Dr. Sureshramana Mayya and all the faculty members of the institution. Ms. Abja of 2nd year welcomed the chief guest and gathering, Mr Abhishek proposed the vote of thanks and Mr. Ramakrishna D of 2nd year MBA conducted the programme.
