Constitutional Awareness leads to Crime Free Society : Dr. Ravindranath Shanbhagh
Awareness about the constitutional procedures for dealing with crimes drastically brings down the number of crimes and results in a crime free society. 95% of the people commit crimes not with an intention to commit crime but out of emotional outbursts and mainly due to absence of knowledge about the legal power which can result in punishment of the guilty said Dr. Ravindranath Shanbagh the president of Human Rights Protection Foundation and the Consumer Forum, Basrur at Poornaprajna Institute of Management on 29th Monday 2018. He was addressing the students at Prajna Hall of the institution on the workshop organised by the Human Rights Cell of the Institute on the topic âEmpowerment of the Weaker Sections of the Societyâ.
