After inaugurating the programme, His Holiness Sri Vishwapriya Theertha Swamiji said one may be a medical expert, or he may be a great scientist, one thing that we cannot control, one thing, that we cannot fully explore – that is our brain, our mind, we say, I don’t have interest today, what is that? Why it is like that? Who filled that vitality? That energy? Hard Disk or any modern-day gadgets has got some limited capacity, but our human brain has abundant capacity, some incidents still occupy in the subconscious part of human mind, efforts must be taken to control our mind. There may be several life, god has filled energy, but in the present world, the mind or brain is not correct, children cannot control their mind, even we cannot control our mind. In order to have individual experience, we have to expose students to society. If they are exposed to society, they will learn how to lead their life. Just imagine, in the ancient times we never had such problem, no counsellors were required, we did not experience any need to go towards counsellors. At that time, our younger generations were exposed to society. They learnt the skills to lead competitive life, no depression to them.
Bhaghavan Sri Krishna felt the need for alleviating the problem of depression in the life of our contemporary generations. The panacea for these problems is Bhagavadgeetha, Krishna taught Arjuna, why, it is meant to our generations. Its objective to overcome depression among us. He appealed the faculty to be selective while reading, he urged the faculty not to drink polluted water, Bhagavadgeetha has different interpretations, if you read it, you will get lot of knowledge. What is correct, what is wrong – everything is incorporated in Bhagavadgeethe. Krishna filled his “Tapas” in the Bhagavadadgeetha for the benefit of our generations. It is better, beneficial and heling the students if they read Bhavadgeetha. He equated the punarjanma to different shirts. It is your responsibility take care about all these shirts. Krishna compelled Arjuna to remove old shirts, wear new shirt, he expressed his happiness that all the faculty belonging to Poornaprajna Institutes. The young calf makes deliberate attempt to drink milk. All these deliberate attempts were imperative for getting excellent knowledge. He also requested the functionaries to organise more and more programmes so that all the faculty may benefit.
Later Ms. Rameela Shekar appreciated His Holiness for organising the programmes of tis nature and conducted the programme. She stressed various issues like reason for the behaviour of younger generations. The programme included the vital issues like – “Everybody has got reason to behave”, the reason for our behaviour, parental influence etc.
