Poornaprajna Institute of Management: Training on Improving Non-teaching Staff Performance

A Training Session for Non-Teaching Employee of Poornaprajna Institute of Management was held on 9-8-2018 at Prajna, the Audio Visual Hall of Poornaprajna Institute of Management. Dr. M. R. Hegde, the Former Director of the Institute conducted the Programme. He explained in detail the imperatives of having moral and ethical values among the employees irrespective of the cadre. He called the participants to do committed work, he also appealed the staff to cherish the sacrifice made by two Swameejis, even the excellent infrastructure laid by Sri Vibudhesha Tirtha and continuing the tradition by Sri Vishvapriya are mainly responsible to develop the college.   He appealed to the staff that students can reciprocate their obligation to the institution by rendering hard and committed work. 
He also appealed to the staff to treat the students of Poornaprajna Institute with respect and dignity. “They constitute our important assets, stakeholders, their aspirations, their feeling, their all round development are our main agenda” he reiterated to the staff. He also stressed them to give respect to other individuals, “if you give respect, you get respect”, he appealed to non teaching staff. 
Dr. Sureshramana Mayya, the Dean of the Management Programme presided over the function and stressed the need for updating the knowledge, the requirement of IT knowledge, communication skill, the necessity of treating the students and other stakeholders with love, interest and empathy. 
Dr. Naveen, Associate Professor of the Institute welcomed the Chief Guest and Mr. Joe Ashwin Correa coordinated the programme. All the non-teaching staff of the Institute attended in the programme.
