Finance club of PIM organised an extension programme for the benefit of Kuruba community children on 03rd February 2017. students selected the concept of financial literacy as the theme for the extension activity of their finance club. 60 Students studying in grade 9th and 10th of Volakadu school belonging to the said community were the beneficiaries. Students were enlightened about the importance of finance in everyday life. The level of knowledge of students about the sources of finance, financial institutions, different methods of savings and investments were tested through the different games designed by the students of PIM. Students also distributed stationery items as prizes for the winners in different activities. 18 students of finance club of PIM designed the different games. Students divided themselves into 4 groups. Each group was assigned with different parts of developing and administering the programme. The programme was organised both by the first- and second-year MBA students.
