Women Empowerment Cell of Poornaprajna Institute of Management conducted a training programme on Health and Hygiene to the children of members of Kanakadasa Seva Sangha, Udupi on October 15th, 2014. The student members of Women Empowerment Cell enlightened the childrens on the importance of Health and Hygiene for girls to have a comfortable and fresh feeling all the day. The children were also trained on the ways of maintaining personal hygiene such as cleansing, mensural care, odor care, clothing tips, healthy foods etc. They were also made to know when to consult a gynocologist. Some home remedy tips were also given to the students. Prathvini Salian welcomed the gathering, Anusha L K proposed vote of thanks and Keerthana conducted the programme. Other members of the Cell trained the children. Faculty coordinator Mrs. Sujatha G L coordinated the programme.
